yet another beautiful summer morning 18C/68F w/ the high expected to reach about 78 later today.  It's actually
been quite warm this past week (well into the 80's) w/ a couple uncomfortable nights not cooling until well after
midnight.  I still can't get used to it getting dark so late.  Though it now gets dark between 10:30 and 11:00 p.m. it
always feels like 7 or 8.  I'm looking forward to the full moon Thursday the 21st.  I experienced the 1st one just
days after arriving here and it was awesome.

So...this past week, w/ Alex on holiday and not left for the states yet, I played Mr. Mom.  We had some good quality
time together.  That's him in one of the pics on an afternoon outing to the park.  Kewl swing huh?  I even played
on it.  It was about time I added a picture of Alex to this site...he's the whole reason I'm here.  I gotta say he's
about the easiest kid to be around.  Very low matinence
(he'll be 10 in September)!  He and his mom head for Austin this Thursday.  Heather will stick around for her class
reunion and come back on the 1st while Alex will hang another  few weeks at his grandparents until school begins
again end of August.  My trip to Berlin is sceduled for a week from this coming Wed. the 27th and probaly get back
here to Eindhoven about the same time Heather does.

Friday night Alex and I went to see the remake of the Orson Wells classic "War of the Worlds".  I wasn't sure how
I'd like it and Alex was reluctant but we both liked it just fine (still, not being much of a movie goer I could have
waited for it to come out on video).  Alex liked it so much he saw it again w/ his mom last night.  I spend most of my
Saturday hanging out w/ Jerry (in the area from LA for a conference).  He had posted on craigslist Amsterdam
looking for kewl peeps to hang out with.  I replied!  It happened to work out he was wanting to get out of
Amsterdam after being in town all week at his conference and seeing all he wanted to see there so he took me up
on my offer to show him around (the little I know) Eindhoven.  You'll see in the picture the purchases made
yesterday (Indonesian Dark and Northern Lights along w/ a nice hand blown piece of glass)...cheap cheap cheap
all for 22.50 euro (12.50 euro for the glass)...that blows me away (and literally ;)..nice combo)!  That's about
$27.00 American money all together.  Sweet!  Turns out this guy Jerry and a partner are opening up a bed and
breakfast in Peru.  We got to talking and well, another door just opened up.  Seems there is a good possibility that
I'll get to go there sometime as he is looking for someone to be sort of a caretaker of the property during a couple
weeks at a time while he travels for buisness or holiday.  It would be in exchange for the R.T.flight out to Peru.  It's
just in the hey you'd be ideal for this position stage but we left it at both of us being interested in it possibly being
something that could work and we both would benifit from.  Hey...I'm perceptive of the oppurtunity and isn't that
why I'm here to begin with?  Like...ummm...twist my arm (neit zo hard/not so hard)!!!   Who knows...just going w/ it.

HOLA AMIGOS,

Hope this finds everyone in good health and spirits.  Hard to believe I'm in my 3rd week here.  It feels like a lot
longer.  Already, I've experienced all 4 seasons in just one day.  I'll take it over the 3 digets you're having out
there.  Never thought I'd hear myself say that.  I usually dig on the heat.  Don't get me wrong...my preference is
geared towards warmer weather w/ destinations to a nice beach.  But, this is a nice welcome.  The warmest it's
been here is just above 80.  It's funny hearing people here complaining about it being too hot and humid.  If they
only knew.  Here, it has reached the highs above mentioned and lows down to the 40's.  That's a bit cold for me.
But literally, with the winds coming in as they do off the coast here...it'll be windy and cool w/ cloudy rainy skies and
just a while later the sun is back out.  Doesn't seem to detour the hordes of people on bikes.  They simply take
cover, wait a few minutes and then proceed.  So for now it's a total welcome...come winter I may be singing a
different story (though I'm really looking forward to experiencing the 1st snow out here)!  There's still yet, the
warmest months ahead w/ hopefully more highs in the 80's.  I'm not complaining!!!  The days are growing shorter
already...it's now getting dark about 11 p.m.  I'm not complaining!!!

Cheryl has been here visiting from Glasgow all week.  She was here to renew her passport in Amsterdam.  I
decided to go with her there on Thursday.  We got an early start and all went smoothly for her and the American
Embassy (brought back memories of when my passport was stolen in Costa Rica).  We couldn't have asked for a
more beautiful day!  Blue skies and a comfortable temperature, we headed out on our journey early.  We had a
nice brunch and walked around a lot (poor Cheryl...she's not a walker).  We were done w/ buisness by 3p.m. and
rewarded ourselves w/ some "Blueberry" at a local coffee bar (check out the pic).  We amused ourselves further
when we noticed the mexican dummy in front of a restaurant passed out on Corona (had to have a picture of that).

Looks like we're going to be staying in Eindhoven (I really didn't want to move to London anyway).  Heather has
accepted a new job within Phillips!  I wasn't looking forward to another move.  I like having a home base.  Nice that
everything is close by enough to just hop on a train or a cheap flight.  I'm planning my 1st trip out of The
Netherlands for the end of the month to Berlin (I believe it's only 3 or 4 hours away).  It's all about the networking.  I
even have a free place to crash there...how could I not take the opportunity to add to my adventures?   And with
someone from the area who can show me around!  I'm looking forward to it.  I'll be taking the train to Berlin all by
myself, always feeling like a little kid when I do something like that...a little kid in a great big world).

We finally got a freezer (you can send me as many flour tortillas as you want..I'll just freeze em)!  You're wondering
perhaps what the big deal is?  I've grown quite accustomed to having the little dorm size fridge (kinda a bitch
though when you have a guest to add stuff you didn't have room for in the 1st place).  The freezer is as big as the
fridge and well, I'm ecstatic!  Maybe some of you will understand my excitement...especially if you like cooking as I
do...It's in the basement and yes, I already have it stocked w/ ice cream!!!

Alex is officially on holiday.  He had his last day of school yesterday.  He'll be heading back to Austin (about the
time I go to Berlin) to hang out w/ his grandparents for a few weeks before school starts up again in September.
Heather will be taking him both ways so hey, I'm free for several weeks if any one of you want to take the
opportunity to meet up.  I'm open to suggestions!  Seriously, if anyone happens to be anywhere near me you really
should hit me up.  On that note, I'll close for now...sending back all the good energy that continues to come my
way....stay tuned for more adventures to come!!!  Peace and Love my Friends, Jes

Hola,

Saturday morning here (about 9 a.m. as I begin this update).  It's currently 63 degrees w/ the expected high of 73
degrees later today (check out this website for my current weather  here in The Netherlands).
http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/06370.html .  It's been mostly warm (near 80) since arriving here 2
weeks ago w/ no rain until the last couple days (that's unusual in these here parts not to get rain for such a long
period).  There were a couple of almost uncomfortable nights high in humidity.  There isn't such a thing as air
conditioning.  There isn't usually a need for it.  Yesterday was the coolest one yet w/ the high reaching just above
70 but starting off in the 50's.  It was raining most of the day.  Being that both Heather and I caught some cold bug
(we're blaming it on the Scots) after our weekend in Glasgow, I couldn't quite shake the chill yesterday being the
worst we felt of all week.  We were supposed to go to Rotterdam (I think maybe an hour away by train) for a badass
music festival http://www.primitive-festival.nl/main.html   a friend of her's (Bruce and his band "The Masonics" )was
playing at.  This had been in plan for a while and we planned to stay the night.  Well of course neither of us felt like
it at all (we kept trying to talk each other into it).  Instead (with Alex staying the night at a schoolmates), we decided
on a night in, rented a bunch of movies, ordered Dominos, and ate Ben and Jerry's (so American)!  Feeling much
better today.  I wasn't high on my priority list but after last weeks drama w/ the train thing it was decided that I
should have a cell phone.  I looked into a pay as you go plan after recieving recommendation from someone with a
no frills/no attitude cell phone company called Orange (So screw the Sprint jerks I've had to deal with for the last 5
years).  With this plan you simply purchase a GMS phone (it comes with a 50 euro SIM card as part of the
purchase) and it allows me to make phone calls from pretty much all over the world (Including the States) as long
as there is a network to tap into.  You simply replace the SIM card before you run out of minutes.  Hmmm...too bad
my $400 Sprint phone didn't have that technology.  You'll get my cell number as soon as I have it in my hands (all
you'll need is an international calling plan on yours to call me...Sprints offers theirs at $4.00 added a month and it's
about .31per min. as compared to the $2 something a min. rate you'd usually get calling the Netherlands.  This is
the international plan I got my mom on from Sprint).  Both Heather (here) and Cheryl (UK) use an even better rate
off their home phones at like .03 a min. after a .69 connection charge.  Apparently this is what they use for their
long distance to The States (works from The States as well).  Here's what you dial from the States 10-10-987
011-31- 40 -221-3678  (yeah, I know...21 numbers is a lot but it's the best rate taken from my fellow American
friends who live here).  You are welcome to call me if inclined to do so, that's my home phone along w/ the extra
numbers of country codes etc.  Just remember there is a 7 hour difference in time ahead here.  Life is interesting
here...I'm totally adapting into my new routine...Being a smoker of American Spirits it was important to make sure
1st of all, that my brand was sold in the area.  This I already knew after researching long before I left Austin (I'm a
detail person and I knew that the couple cartons I was bringing with, wasn't going to last forever).  I'm down to my
last 8 packs (not bad for having been here over 2 weeks now).  Discovered the tobacco store just down the street
from me that sells my brand.  This may not be exciting to you non-smokers or to those that smoke a different brand
that's easier to find...but it's very exciting for me.  I have to cut back some though.  It's 42 euros a carton here
(around $50) that's about $13 more than I was paying for a carton @ South Oats.  Well worth it though...it's
sometimes the weirdest or smallest of things that we take for granted that are suddenly cherished as a comfort
thing.  That's totally how I feel about discovering my brand of smokes in walking distance.  Hey, I'm learning to cook
here in Dutch.  When I say Dutch I mean everything is in Dutch (it's not in my job description to cook for Heather
and Alex but because I enjoy cooking).  I have been challenged in the fact that when I shop at the market (a task
you do here pretty much daily) that 1st of all, it's not like shopping HEB.  They don't have a lot of the same things
we're used to and a lot of different things I've never even seen before.  And of course we're familiar w/ labels we're
familiar with.  Try shopping not knowing the familiar...it takes complete concentration.  Then it's all in Dutch!!!  I
wish they had taught me Dutch in school as they all know English here.  I've managed to make some pretty tasty
dishes so far.  Could be Heather just likes it a lot because she hardly cooks and a home cooked meal has become
a treat.  It'll be an even greater challenge trying to figure out the confectioners oven, the directions are in Dutch.
Trust me, I'll have it figured out w/ pure determination in perfecting the Dutch version of the Snickerdoodle (Space
Doodle)!!!  I've had to use a confectioners oven for all my baking when I worked for the Mad Bird (but those
directions were in English).  I'll let you know how many errors before perfection!!!  I'm also used to a small kitchen
area (Ruta Maya).  This one is ok size...with an dorm size fridge (that takes some getting used to) hence marketing
daily for food needs except Sundays when the grocery stores are close (cept the 1st Sunday of the month when
they're open).  Heather is looking into that freezer, so we can stock up on some frozen food stuff (ice cream/Sky
Vodka)!   That's all for now folks.  Back to adventuring...look for a pic to be added to this update as soon as I take
one worthy enough of the entry.  Enjoy the music selection I chose, another great RJD2 tune off the Deadringer
Album titled " Smoke & Mirrors" (I'd recently been turned on to them this past year and love em).  Mello...I'm still
waiting to hear from you (anyone want to please pass on that word for me) Much Peace and Love, Jes
P.S. It takes about 2 weeks from the States for mail to arrive here.  Please feel free to send me care packages of
things next to impossible to get here.  No worries if someone sends me the same thing twice.  Just means I can
savor it longer!!!
WISH LIST: ranch dressing (packets)
flour tortillas (dying for some)
cilantro (of course not the fresh stuff but in a shaker be kewl)
hominy (white or yellow or both for my cajun chix and dumplings Heather is dying for some)

Hey All,

Glasgow was nice...getting there was interesting.  We had a little drama happen before we got to the airport.  We
were supposed to get off at an earlier stop from the train we were on heading from Eindhoven to Amsterdam due to
another train blocking the track towards the airport or something.  Heather had only partially heard the
announcement (it was in Dutch so I wouldn't have known jack), so she asked someone sitting behind her.  So we
were to get off at this stop and take another train.  Alex and I made it off but the door closed just as Heather made
it.  She managed to get the door to open partially for a second but it closed again.  There she was on the other side
and Alex and I standing there, with a damn door between us.  I wasn't real sure where to go from there but thought it
best to get ourselves to the airport where I was sure we'd find her (eventually).  Alex was in my care and the most
important thing was to keep calm.  Heather had his train ticket with her and lucky they never checked non our
tickets.  we were at the airport within 20 min.  Not sure at all where Heather's train was heading so we laid low at The
Meeting Point at the airport just waiting (only stepping away as the time went on for something to eat for Alex okay, I
stole some of his fries).  We left our post as the time drew even nearer to departure to see if they would announce
her name as well as walked over to the check-in area to see what we could possibly do at this point.  Even if she
arrived now they weren't going to let us on the plane.  It was yet another 30 min or so when we finally found each
other.  Easy Jet didn't have another flight out until the next day.  Lucky for us Heather found us another flight out on
KLM (another budget carrier here putting us in Glasgow maybe just an hour later than originally planned (Cheryl
was there patiently waiting to greet us...cell phones come in handy for quite a lot including the purchasing of these
last minute arrangements), and we didn't have to fly back until much later Sunday afternoon.  A beer and some fish-
n-chips were in order upon arriving in Scotland!  The bday party (later that evening) for Steve (40th) was
interesting...sort of like any Texas family gathering (Scottish Rites held at a tavern).  It was a good time, good food,
drink, people (the DJ was ok...he did play a couple of my requests...Blondie and Duran Duran).  Steve's family was
kewl...lots of em...I believe they outnumbered his friends maybe.  His wife Cat is awesome  (I've known some great
Cats so I always associate the name to the "kewl kats" I already know) and their 3 beautiful girls.

Cheryl made us Migas Saturday morning back at her place (the pic is taken thru her 3rd floor flat at the awesome
cemetary view below).  It was a remindance of home...good migas...thanks Cheryl.  Heather and Alex got some
shopping in while Cheryl and I.....waited ;)  We went to Steve and Cats house for dinner (Chinese) and many beers
later we were playing a guessing game music trivia we were having fun at...let's see how many brain cells we lost
since the 80's I called it.  Never did get my fried Mars bar but tried a new ice cream (honeycomb-made w/ plenty of
cream...yum)!  We arrived back in Eindhoven after a long train ride back from the airport and anxious to get back at
that point.  Stays light here till nearly midnight so at 10 it's still like 7 or 8 back in the states.  I kinda dig on that since
I've gotten into the habit of taking late night walks in the park.  Hope everyone is well and look forward to hearing
back from anyone that feels like dropping a line or 2...Catch up w/ ya'll later...it's off to go explore the downtown
area...I'm totally digging on the small town feel here.  More later...peace and love, Jes

Well...it's off to a party in Glasgow for the weekend.  I don't know the guy who's birthday we are celebrating but hey,
it's a party...sounds like a good time.  I haven't seen Cheryl (my friend who lives there) since her 40th b-day party
(she flew back to Austin for that).  Seems with my moving to the area the Austin possee in these here parts
increases the European population.  Anyone else wanna join us?  I experienced 4 days in Scotland last year when I
escourted Alex back to his mother in Amsterdam.  Got turned on to fish and chips and the fried mars bar.  The fried
mars bar is pretty damn decadant and I'm looking forward to another one or 2 of those.  The hash wasn't half bad
either ;)  Catch up w/ ya'll when I get back.  Peace and Love

wondering if we've danced this dance before?
Or is it our first time?
We celebrate it's magical form

LMAO! Your cracking me up Jes! Let em know what kind of photos you want me to send you when you get homey
sick! I have it all bro’! Music, Art, Austinites, Friends, our kiddos!) I have 3 kiddos! My son, by 14 year old blind,
deaf, and randomly barking beagle, and Patches (a.k.a…”The Shadow!”) LOL I took Patches c to Twin Falls a few
weeks ago and she blocked my shadow with her own the entire length of the two days we were there. Funny yes,
but the down fall was I got no “sleep!” Periodically Austinites would come down to take a skinny dip in the wee odd
hours of the morning and she would bark and yelp to let me know we were not alone. Lol! Gotta love it!

“ton” of ideas. “Time is patience brother!” Something I am still learning to accept and in learning this I have found

I really do not use dem' chat lines and stuff! Way to busy with my Art, writing and in deep thought to yak, so I never
really made it a point to install MSN, Aim, or Messenger. I will check into it though and once I have the proper

I am unable to give you access to the statistical reports of the entire site, but will copy and paste the number of hits
on your specific page to this email and to future emails for your info (upon your request). The  page titled “movies”
is the Jes the Adventurer page!

I used to have it dedicated to old Art flicks. This page had a total of 187 hits on it prior to your page starting.
Subtract 187 from the total of this day to obtain an accurate number of hits when I send you a pasted copy of the
report.

For now I really do not want to give the total # of hits to the site, becuase it is this that I hope will gain me the clought

"more" for the families that it will bring relief to! I get dem' butter's every time I dream about this day!

In closing I just “have to say” I love the song you sent so much I put it on the home page as well. “Love It!”

Thanks again for the boost of confidence bro’! It’s friends like yourself and feedback like this that keep my spirit
where it belongs.

PS: Im attaching you another photo I took last night of Michael Shay. He’s “really” good! Wonder why all the great
musicians are like 8’ tall an stuff…lol! He’s a big dude bro! He won’t have to worry about needing any rowdies or
Hells Angels latter on for back up that’s for certain…lol! I created some "killer Art with this photo! I think I might use it
on my next movies. I dont have his permission so I may need to use some longhorns or manipulate the photo in
order to save my hinny...lol! Dont need any trouble until I settle the trouble Im already in...lmao!

RE: Jes the Adventurer!!!

Hey Brother! Sounds to me like you got the best idea at hand! Your page is young and has "a lot" of space. This will
allow us to publish a great deal of photos along with text. Whatever you send will be published and doctored up with
my software prior to publishing. (Cropping, color correction...yata, yata!)

When I started your page it was created from a page I had dedicated to past Art Flicks. Yes dial up is a "pain" but to
view photos on the site is fast. My Art Flicks require DSL so it’s a drag for many who appreciate the flicks. The way
around that I have found is to post photos from past flicks on the home page. Many of the photos in the stories
have a small story that is never told or forgotten. This gives me the opportunity to share a thought or an
experience. I think most folks check out the art flick page at work. Most businesses have DSL! When I get enough
cool photos collected from you, you will need to pick a song for your Art Flick…Smiling! Would you like to make the
title of your flick a pic of the sticker on your journal…lmao!

My suggestion is to only send 1 photo (a favourite) to your friends and family as to not tie up to much of their time.
Send me what ever you want or love and I will publish it along with whatever you want to share in regards to your
world. So far you have had about 25 friends check out your page.

I love what you have been sending and look forward to this year of “Jes the Adventurer!” Totally kewl! My son read
your email and loves the way you write kewl…lol! He wanted me to say hi for him!

Anyway, here’s a few photo’s I got tonight while at Ruta Maya’s! I fell asleep and missed Carolyn in Wonderland, but
was still able to get a shot of her (she stood in for Michael Shays guitarist!) Well, its getting late (12:30am), I have to
go to work early, and I cant go to sleep till I finish watching this “hilarious” Disney movie called “The Grove!” Peace
bro! Wesley

Wesely...I appreciate what you are doing for me.  I've had a couple of responses now letting me know that my pics
were way too big etc. etc.and asked not to send any more via email...especially those w/ dial up (I forget that some
people still have dial up and well...I remember it well).  Any ideas how it would be best to do?  Obviously I don't need
to send everyone pics the way I have been.  I certainly don't want to take advantage of your genurosity.  Give me
some ideas how we can work on this together and I'll do whatever you ask.  BTW I love what you've been doing to
the site so far...and it makes sense I just send you a bunch of pics whenever and continue to let everyone know if
they want to see pics or get updates on my adventures they can go to your site and get all the updates.  Was very
kewl to see responses from a couple good friends I hadn't heard from at my email...lo and behold they responded at
your site(I didn't even know that could be done...I'm not so computer saavy (but damn if  I can't make a badass
cajun chicken and dumplings that will rock your taste buds)...I'd like more of that...people responding to your site.  I
go to the site once a day usually and that was a nice surprise....anyway, give me some ideas on how we should do
the pics at your site, so I don't continue typing up someones phone line.  Peace

everywhere here).  I spent several hours just walking around through one park after another all inner connecting w/
one another w/ canels, woods, bridges...very kewl!!!  Mostly fascinated in people and nature watching.  The town
centre is just down the road from me as well as all the parks I could desire.  All within walk or bike ride!  My work

Mon: pick Alex up from school after Art Class @4:30 p.m.
Tues: pick up Alex after school 3:30 p.m.
Wed:1/2 day of school p/u Alex @ 12:30 p.m.

Fri: P/U Alex from school 3:30 p.m.
Sat: OFF
Sun: OFF
He'll be on 6 week holiday in July/August so I'll be free to do whatever during that time...how kewl is that schedule?
I'm digging on it.  Loving the small town feel here and close enough to Amsterdam and other kewl places.  Peace

Well...how the hell is everyone?  I finally got caught up on some sleep.  My head is swimming here in my new
surroundings.  I was past the point of sleep after arriving and having already been up for nearly 24 hrs.  Friday
night I stayed in Alex's room because the former au pair hadn't vacated her room yet.  I felt unsettled being that I
couldn't unpack just yet.  I slept maybe 2 hours.  I'm not sure exactly where my energy was coming from (I didn't say
my brain was quite working right) but I found the energy to move myself into my new room here just as soon as the
old au pair left (Heather and Alex both singing...ding dong the witch is dead...the wicked witch is dead LOL).  I guess
that's why I'm here.  They didn't care for her at all.  Oh well..lucky me!  So...I spent most of my day settling in.  We
actually did a sage cleansing of the entire house and most certainly concentrating on the room I moved into.  It's a
nice room.  Very kewl house (circa WW2) on a quiet street.  I'm digging it!  I've got my own little balcony facing the
street...already got myself set up out there (all I need are a few plants and that's not going to be a problem...the
yard is full of em.  I'll probaly get out and explore some today (being just off from the town centre, Eindhoven,
everything is withing walking or biking distance...time to go find a quaint little coffee shop and order something off
the menu that Ruta Maya doesn't yet have...at least not until Tim decides to open up a location here).  Lots of
people riding their bikes here.  Heather and I will go out and get me one later.  The weather is awesome.  There are
more rainy days than not, so when the sun is out as it has been so far, everyone is out and about.  It's been in the
mid 70's for the highs.  It feels like a nice Spring morning in Austin when we can open our windows and let in the
fresh air.  I got up about 6 a.m., coffee/journaled already out on my balcony and took a couple pics of the house.
(attached)..  Afetr a shave I'll be ready to go explore.

Seriously, I'd be forever grateful if anyone wants to be creative in sending me any spices or food item remindance
of Texas.  I'm talking some good flour tortillas, tortilla chips, salsa, and any cooking spices native to Texas.  You
think I'm kidding?  Hell no...if everyone sends me something I bet I'll be the hit of all of Eindhoven (certainly my taste
buds will be eternally grateful).  It's a request.  I figure it can't hurt to ask now when in just a few days I'll be craving
this stuff.  Surprise me with care packages of these goodies as often as you like.  I promise that by the time you
come out to see me I'll have perfected the spacedoodle recipe (snickerdoodle cookie Dutch style)!!!  I'll be
anxiously checking the mail from this day forward.  Below is my contact info here.  I'll keep you informed if anything
changes.  There is a possibility in October we'll be moving to London (if Heather gets the job she applied for there)...
hey, I'm just going with the flow.  That's what I'm here for...the adventure (s).  Peace and Love, Jes

Hey Jes! I updated your page today and upon reading this email all I can do is giggle and say, "Gotta Love It!"
Thank You for the direction in regards to your page and to everyone on this response list. I apologize if I am
causing you any unwanted mail. This Email will be one of the last of responses to Jes that you will be attached to. I
do not want to inconvenience anyone, but only wanted all of you to know of the Jes the Adventurer page on
austinithinkyoushine.com. When Jes sends enough photo's I plan to get creative and make him a Photo Art Flick
that he can appreciate. If I have upset anyone please do accept my apology! If any of you care to have a photo
captured that I plan to email to Jes try and make it up to Ruta's on Monday Evening. Peace be with all of you and
may your weekend be true! Respectfully, Wesley

I made it in about noon today (Friday the 17th) safe and sound. I'm
keeping this short, as I am extremely tired! As you can imagine after being
up since Thursday morning pretty much. I flew out of D/FW @ 4:25 p.m.
yesterday and the 9 hour flight into London was pleasant enough (British
Airways is definetely the way to fly). The girl sitting next to me was a
little too sugar coated sweet for me from Lubbock (need I say more)...she
noticed my BUSH IS A PUNK ASS CHUMP sticker on my journal and made the
comment of how much she liked him...I didn't argue...just put my headphones
on to drown out any more comments about that subject. The house here in
Eidhoven is way too kewl. Lots of character! Looks like once I get some
rest and go check out the hood, I'm told I'll find a couple little coffee
bars within walking distance ;) But now....REST!!! Look forward to hearing
from you. Peace and Love, Jes

to hear from you! I need to get by Ruta Mayas and snap some photo's to send you. I plan to go and listen to Carol
in Wonderland this coming Monday and will send you some photos of the performance. I need some direction friend.
I’m a bit nervous in publishing some of the things you send me. I do not want to upset or let you down in anyway.
Please let me know what I should or should not publish. I have published your past two emails to your Jes the
Adventurer Page. I figured when you return we can print it all out and have your own photo journal of memories. I do
block out your email and whereabouts prior to publishing them. Would you like me to not do this? Let me know bro'!

Hey All,
It's a little hard to believe it still feels like I'm out of town for just a few days here in the D/FW area and will shortly be
on my way back to chill out on my balcony in Austin.  Nothing could be further away from that than the fact that this
Thursday at 4:45 p.m. I'll be flying out on to my new adventures.  Weird!  Mixed feelings of excitement, fear, loss,
gain.  But what the hell, life's full of all that anyway.  I'm taking that plunge into the great unknown, jumping in w/ both
feet and going for it.  I've had wireless internet access over here in Dallas over the weekend at my friend Jay's
house but back to my moms later this afternoon (no internet access and not going back to Starbucks).  The next
email you will receive from me will be from Holland just as soon as get myself set up on the internet to let you know I
made it there in one piece.  Stay in touch.  A short email w/ maybe a picture or 2 of you would be a nice thing to get
when I open up my emails again...help me remember all of your happy faces (and sexy bodies) during my
transition.  Peace and Love, Jes

Jes,
Love the story bro'! (BELOW IN RED)I left some cards at Ruta Mayas and asked Victoria to give em' out to our
friends. The few times I have been by there she has been working her butt off. She is doing the job of 3 people.
LOL! She can handle it eh! She has a lot of spirit and Im sure you trained her well. I have successfully dedicated a
page on the website to your adventures and your photography. I hope no one gets offended by the photo's you
sent because I published them last week...lol! Ive published worse, so I guess I am not to worried about it...lol.
Check it out when you get the chance. I used that picture of you wearing the Kings hat and holding your walking
staff on your page. Glad to hear your doing well and I will pass the word about the Jes Adventures page on the Web
Site. Peace out and "STARBUCKS!" BROOOOOOOOOO' LMAO! Wesley I attached a gift for ya! Wesley www.

Hey All...I've been in shshhh since last Tuesday.  I'll be here hanging out with family and friends until I fly out the
shhhth.  There's no internet at my moms so a little frustrating in trying to connect the last few days.  I actually broke
down and went to a Starbucks (my bad) w/ all hopes of connecting on to my wireless for the 1st time ever.  I wasn't
happy about being there at all and even worst yet...no one seemed to know anything about how to connect wireless
even though they provided the service.  After about 30 min. and completely frustrated, I gave up.  In Dallas for the
weekend chillin at a friends place.  Finally after several attempts and phone calls to SBC to techs that didn't have a
clue how to get me on I pretty much figured it out for myself and viola...here I am....at last.  I just wanted contact.  I
haven't even left the country yet and I'm missing you.  Trust me...it's already been an adventure.  Who know's when
I'll get the chance to drop you a line or 2 until after I leave but I promise to catch up if I'm unable to get online...Stay

p.s. hope this pic isn't offensive to anyone.  It was ordered straight off the menu last year while we were in

more...we had to give nearly half away at the airport.
