Where to start?
Well....I guess I'll begin with a blessing to all for returning here to Austinithinkyoushine and to the fortunes this first quarter of "07" has delivered to us. As I think
back to my last update I am bewildered as to how fast the time has seemed to slip away. Work has me traveling quite a bit every week, and with the 2-3 days I
have left to savor as my own, I find myself spending much more time at home. My son is 12 going on 13 and his 7th year of school has brought a love for
watching him play Football, Basketball, and now Track. For all you un-parents out there I can not say enough how much pride comes from watching your child
grow and find their own positives in life. Just writing about it gets me all choked up (you know that butterfly feeling that makes you feel queezey inside!)....lol! I
hope someday he will take the time to read this and understand just how wonderfully proud I am of him. I tell him everyday, but you know what they say..."a word
is worth a thousand pictures". (Smiling)
It feels good to be here in my spot with this opportunity to share right now. SXSW is over and I am anxious to share with you what I have had the opportunity to
capture. The past two weeks have been tough on me due to the travels of work (this past week was spent admiring the mountains of Alomagorda in New
Mexico...Breath Taking!). If I could have attended all the invitations I have received through my space and my emails I would have had enough photography to
keep me planted here in my spot for a year..(gotta love my home!) "Always" something to do and "always" something to remember.
The movie flick you are seeing here today have been inspired by and created for a person who is very special in the Austin community. "Leeann Atherton"
continues to help and sponsor many musicians here within Austin and beyond. The photos that you are seeing in todays movie are from her Moma's House CD
release party at the Saxon Pub and from the SXSW Full Moon Barn Dance bash that was held at Dave & Cindy's in South Austin. I can not go into how fabulous
these bash's are right now, but what I can do is give you the link that will keep you in tune on when the next one is to be. Click the link, come and jam, and smile
when I take your pic, it's as simple as that...lol. Gooood I love my life....See ya' soon I hope! ( :

Greetings friends! Nice to be back for a spell to share a few thoughts and another fantastic artsy photo flick that I’m sure you will love. I had intended to share
photos from the Hot Rod show on Congress Ave. and photo’s captured at Zilker Gardens. I spent an entire afternoon about a week ago smelling flowers and
chasing butterflies. It was truly a blessed day to remember.
Easter Sunday brought photography and memories of the Aries Birthday party that was held by fellow ejammers. Upon looking through these memories I
decided without hesitation to share these memories with you. When I saw how awesome the photo’s turned out of Leeann Atherton (Queen of South Austin), Neil
Hampton (Drums), Zhenya (Zeegrass), and all you like-minded wonderful folks, I tapped into my creative mode and put together the flick that you see here
today. Pass the word on to your friends and family so they can pay a visit and see what a wonderful Easter we all had together.
As for the remainder of this day, I plan to stay away from the computer, listen to music, and enjoy another beautiful Austin Saturday with Mother Nature. A BIG
THANK YOU for returning here to AustinIthinkYouShine to appreciate some of Austin’s finest memories. May the remainder of this day/month deliver nothing but
peace to your hearts and unconditional love for all those dear to you.
God Bless,
Wesley

Did you miss me? I missed you…smiling. Can hardly believe I let over a month slip by us without an update. Think about you guys all the time when Im working
and taking on a new night of adventure here in beloved Austin Texas. Life has delivered some fantastic new adventures into this summer and there is so much
that has yet to be done. Wading in kewl river water at the Green Belt tends to be a thought that eagerly comes to mind. My son begins his summer break next
Thursday so I will surely get my fill of swim time taken care of at Twin Falls and Sculpture falls up the road.
He’s starting his summer off at the Mack Brown Longhorn Football camp and I don’t know who’s more excited about it…him or me! He gets to spend four days
learning and playing football with the UT football players which will involve a lot of running and sweating, meanwhile I get to float in a river with a cold beer.
Hmmmmm! I guess I'm more excited…giggle!
Over the past month I have managed to make it to a number of different musical events and (Larry Lange and the Lonely Hearts at Gueros and the Mother
Truckers at the Continental Club),the Bob Marley Fest, several South Austin parties (E-jammers and Leeann Atherton’s Barnyard Mother’s Day Party), and
topped off this past weekend with the Road to Austin Concert at Auditorium Shores.
Im excited to have the time now to actually ponder through some of these digital memories and pick and poke at what to share with you. I may even have to do
it over a period of a week or two so be sure to drop back by and check. In addition to this Jes the Adventurer will be sending his latest update and photos from
his adventure to Greece. I can hardly wait to see these pics. For now the day is winding down and dinner smells awfully tasty.
Thanks for dropping in again to see what’s up (We are at 16,000 + hits now) and thanks even "more" for keeping those smiles.
Peace and Love,
Wesley
Atlanta Rhythm Breeze- They Call Me the Breeze
I was able to campout with E-jammers at Old Settlers before the event actually started the following day, even though I missed out on the Old Settlers
Event, I had a full share of musical talent throughout the entire night. I think I made it to about 5:30 am before I crashed and burned.

Here's a few favorite photo's I put together of the Marley Fest. I was so happy to make it ro the event this year. Cant remember what kept me from this event
last year, but I will surely not allow another year to go by without dedicating a day to Raggae on Auditorium Shores.
Click this mural here to access the bands myspace account. If you love oldies then you are going to fall in love with what
these guys have to offer. You can catch them at Maria's Taco x-Press, Gueros, or Mo Mo's!

Top of the morning to you! It is always nice to be back here with some time to share. Life has been sweet into the 2nd half of this year. I’ve managed to keep out
of trouble, and continue to live each day with a smile on my face and a smile in my heart. To know that I can bring you folks a smile will “always” make my heart
grin from ear lobe to ear lobe. Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback and continued support of the AustinIthinkYouShine website. It will surely continue
to grow & change in time and with that, I would like to share the how, what, when, where, and why behind much of this.
Why: Art, Memories, Fun, Dreams, Charitable Causes, Music, Culture, You, Me! As I continue to share my world, which I have yet to even put a dent into, I
continue to meet others who like me do not live in a shell! We are not afraid to be ourselves, say what we feel, or treat others how we ourselves would like to be
treated. For many years I was afraid to speak out my mind because I was afraid that some Martian may not like me. I am not afraid anymore; I love my self, this
life, and all those dear to me. For those “Martians” out there hang tough. I know it can be hard because I too click into Martian mode from time to time. It is just
part of life and part of being a stubborn human. Just do not allow yourself to stay in that Martian mode 24/7, life’s to damn short to be pissed off all the time.
Poor politicians…
Where: Wherever there is a memory to capture and art that needs to be shared. I was in a COMA back in 93 and was a victim of severe head trauma. Upon
recovery many years were lost and out of order in my head. Memory is something that continues to be a challenge for me. It was during this time of my life that
pictures played an important role in helping me to gather the order of my memories. A time before the luxury of the digital SLR! The thing that saddens me the
most is the 3+ years I have been unable to narrow down and straighten out in my head. The first 3 years of my Sons life, thank God for those still prints! This is
perhaps the thing that inspired me to capture and share the things that I hope are never lost to me. I love art and it is something that we all have in common.
Our taste in art may be different, but as far as I am concerned, art is art, and it is all beautiful in its own special way.
When: Everyday at austinithinkyoushine.com. I plan to continue to share my art and share more of my world and talent of eye. In the future I hope to market
some of this work to raise the funds needed to help those who need it the most. I still have not figured out exactly how I can bring all of this together enough to
make the difference that I desire, but since I began this site about 2 years ago, I have had numerous opportunities to donate work to raise funds for friends and
family here in Austin. I would like to invite all of you to call upon me should you have a situation in which I can be of help. Helping others in this way has always
been rewarding to me and has helped me to gain richness within my heart. The smiles that come from helping others have taught me that nothing is
unachievable if your heart is in the right place.
What: A piece of time, our world, Great Music and Musicians, ART! ART! ART! Tee Hee!
When you can not remember some piece of time that you may have lost, a picture is truly worth more than a 1000 words or even $1000 dollars! The box of
photos in my closet has become a treasure chest to me! It has baby pictures of my Son in it. Pictures captured during a piece of time that have become a blur
within my head.
How: Everyway possible, My Help, Your Help, Our neighbours help!
Aside from my hopes of paying a creditor from time to time there is a hidden agenda behind all of this. Once I have enough support from all you friends and
even you Martians then I hope to organize and sponsor worthy causes that will help those dear to us. Everyone who comes will sing, dance, laugh, eat, build a
memory, and help to achieve a simple goal. To help deliver a smile and provide support to a family in need. Many years ago I worked at Motorola and one of my
Managers children was diagnosed with Leukemia. It broke my heart everyday when I would go into the Motorola Store for a stick of gum and see this child’s
picture up on the wall in hopes of gaining support to pay for the child’s medical bills. I have lost numerous friends and family that I love SO MUCH to this disease
and to help another to fight this disease delivers nothing but purpose within my heart. Once again I invite you to call upon me in your worthy causes that are
true and that can help all of us to enrich the lives of the one’s we love the most.
Peace and Love,
Wesley
